Key Lime Pie Smoothie

key lime pie smoothie

This key lime pie smoothie has quickly become a favorite of mine. This is actually the first smoothie recipe that I came up with on my own and I’ve been excited to share it! It’s perfect for summer when it’s hot outside!

What’s Inside?

  • Frozen Bananas– This gives the smoothie a nice thick creamy consistency. If you don’t have frozen bananas on hand add some ice.
  • Lime Juice– Fresh squeezed is the best!
  • Yogurt– You can use any kind of yogurt you would like. I’ve been using cashew yogurt lately and it’s very good!
  • Honey– Add honey to taste.
  • Vanilla Protein Powder– My favorite brand is Vega, the taste is excellent for adding to smoothies!
  • Spinach
  • Matcha– I like to add this for color.
  • Milk– Any milk will work!
  • Coconut Whip Cream– Optional, but DEFINITELY adds in an extra tropical flavor!

Equipment Used:

  • High Speed Blender
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Large, 32 oz cold cup
