These Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies are a chocolate lover’s dream!

These are the most delicious, amazing cookies that I have ever had. Seriously (and I’ve had a lot of cookies!). The secret to getting this amazing depth of chocolate flavor is by using dutch process cocoa powder. It’s a game changer. The first time I used dutch process cocoa powder I swore I’d never use the “normal” kind ever again. It has such a rich chocolate flavor that’s really hard to beat.

Anyway, every time I make these cookies at home they disappear in no time. With baking season coming up, now is the time to try these for yourself!

What’s Inside Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies:

  • Flour
  • Dutch Process Cocoa Powder
  • White Sugar
  • Brown Sugar
  • Butter
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Baking Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt

How to Make Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Place the butter and the sugar in a large bowl and using either a hand mixer or stand mixer, cream together on medium high for 3 minutes.
  • After 3 minutes, place the egg and the vanilla extract in the bowl and continue to cream together for 7 more minutes (creaming for this long is key to the mixture being light and fluffy).
  • While the butter and sugar are creaming, combine the dry ingredients together and whisk until everything is evenly distributed.
  • When the 7 minutes is up add in the dry ingredients and on low speed, mix until just combined.
  • Fold the chocolate chips into the dough and keep folding until they are evenly mixed in and everything is combined.
  • Using a small cookie scoop, or your hands, place balled dough onto a baking sheet with the dough being at least 1.5 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8 minutes.
  • Take the cookies out of the oven, let sit on baking sheet for about 1-2 minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack.
  • Let cool, and enjoy!!
