Every year I look forward to fig season! There’s only one store that I can find where I live that carries them so it’s always extra exciting when I walk into the store to be met with fresh figs! Fig season is pretty short lived so I always try to get as many as I can.

This salad is a great way to use the figs as they pair perfectly with the sweetness of the blackberries, the bitterness of the arugula. Not to mention it’s absolutely beautiful!

For the base ingredients of the salad, I did not measure anything as this is very much a “your desired amount” kind of recipe. Use whatever amount of the ingredients you’d like. The vinaigrette is the only thing that is measured in this recipe.
